i think it's time to re-evaluate our pitching development from the transition from the minors into the bigs.  For some reason, Cashman and co. is not doing enough to help better prepare our young pitchers to that transition.  Whether it's ill-advised pitching restrictions, dropped velocity, or bizarre injuries, something's not working.  Not only is it physical, but it's a mental thing as well.  Gotta re-evaluate from top down

I agree Loon. I think that the Yanks have just given Hughes too many chances. They need to cut their losses and he should be outa here.

Sadly, you are right. The really sad thing about it is that it doesn't seem to bother Hughes at all. Watch in his post-game interview, something like "I was just a little off in that 4th inning. I'll be better next start.".
