I don't know BigGuy. IMO to trade Granderson Cashman would have to be overwhelmed. I know he will want a big contract so that could be the main reason but the guy has played great. He's a great guy with a swing made for the Stadium, clutch and hustles all the time. I'd get rid of the other 2 before he went anywhere.

 Swisher has been a steal for the Yanks and has played overall very well but he will want a raise also after this year and probably at least a 3 year deal. Is Boras his agent? I think he's gone after this season unless he gives the Yanks a discount.

The contract is the main reason I brought it up.  Granderson will get at least a 5 year deal for at least 5 mil per year more than Swisher.  I don't know if they'll do that, but they have to seriously consider it.  Granderson will get something good back in return and they already have Gardner to replace him.  Everybody assumes that Swisher is not going to be resigned, but I think this is a possiblity.  You read it here first. lol

all of these are peripheral moves. the real problem are the two albatrosses at 1st and 3rd base that get paid like top five in the league players and perform as average players. theres no fixing that for a long time so we've gotta to be extra smart and get the most out of homegrown, cost effective guys. enough with the garcias of the world.  sadly, the killer bee's look more like bumble bees.
