Can We Get Rid Of The MEEBO Bar Obama Advert?

Cleese Posts: 4,179	So I just got on the board and the MEEBO Bar pops up like usual. On the MEEBO Bar also has an advertisement to donate to Obama cause he needs your help for re-election. This advert really needs to be gotten rid of. I dont care if it was an advert for Romney or someone else on my side of the aisle, a politcal advert such as late should not be popping up on the board.

prof. quiz Posts: 2,820	I'm going to help you guys get rid of Meebo. I blacklisted that nonsense the first time it popped up. Although I can't understand why you cons have a problem with unfettered Capitalism at work! Must be the sociaslist in us all! In IE go to TOOLS/INTERNET OPTIONS/SECURITY then click on RESTRICTED SITES then click SITES. A new window pops up. Type the following URL (address) in the list box titled "add this website to the zone" WWW.MEEBO.COM Click ADD/CLOSE/OK Close and then reopen the browser and you should be Mebbo free. You can restrict access to any URL here.
