Well, at least it's better than Albert Pujols (.219, 0 HR, 4 RBI).

.232 is right where he's been for years now. He is a .230 hitter now.

Although Reyes is not a power hitter.... .213, 0HR, 3RBI..... His avg and RBI is far from stellar

Always proud to be a Yankee fan.

I sure hope he and Cano get out of there slumps! I know Tex is a slow starter but I hope that's all this is, and hope Cano is just in a slump.

I'm not worried about Cano, but Tex has become too stubborn to change his hitting style and the short porch in RF has all but ruined him... Twice today the pitch was on the outside part of the plate, Tex had the opportunity to go to left field with the pitch, no he rolled his hands over trying to pull the ball, once a weak grounder to the second baseman and the other time a lazy fly ball to right field.. Long or Girardi have to get inside this mans head and get him back to where he was before he became a Yankee... Each year he has been a Yankee he has declined in his batting average...

I hoped Tex could go the other way more consistently but I just feel he won't change how he's hitting unless his production falls off a cliff. I agree with you about Cano, I think Cano will be able to figure it out, he's done it before and will do it again.

Tex will hit .250 with about 100+ RBIs as usual.  Never thought I would be saying this but I think he should be hitting back in the 3 hole with Cano batting behind him.  I think we'll get the most production out of him that way.

Yeah and a week ago he was at .288 which shows you how idiotic it is to be talking about batting averages this early.

Teix had a monstrous weekend at Fenway when HE WENT THE OTHER WAY!!! What a rock head.

Cano will be fine.

Robbie please retract what you just said about Teixeira back in the 3 hole.  I say time to bat him 7th. Hararar
