I doubt we win this game tonight with Kuroda on the mound.

Wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   How can you make that prediction when Kuroda was outstanding  giving up only 2 runs against the best defensive team that being Rangers.  Today he was even better.....7IP, 4H, 1R, 1BB, 3SO  Still doubt him????

Yea ur right I made a bad mistake, I'm starting to like this guy.

I don't worry at all about the O's. By the years end, they will end up in last place.

And exactly why would you think something that stupid? Do you think the Yankees will never win a game with him on the mound? Mind boggling!!! BTW...did you enjoy the game?

So, tonight, weather permitting, Phil Hughes gets another chance.  Here's my guess on his performance.

Buckwilldo one of two things.... Have his guys jump on him early because he has a definite confidence problem or have them work him in long counts which, in the end, will have the same effect.

If they chase early, Martin will have to adjust him off the plate and hope the O's jump on anything that looks close.  He's not a deceptive pitcher so he will have to hope their aggressiveness is their downfall.  If they work him into long counts, it will be another bloodbath.  The key will be good use of high cheese.  Work that pitch well and he will get some outs.

I see him not going any deeper than third time through the order, and that's generous....Even if they do help him out by jumping on early pitches.

I hope you're wrong and that he has a great game ... these are the Orioles ... Phil needs to keep that in mind when he gets on that mound, and just attack.

Three times through the order? That would be GREAT, would it not? And what's wrong with the weather? Zero chance of rain.

Only comfort is the guy pitching for the O's tonight implodes just as easily and has an ERA of over 6. I expect a high slugging game tonihgt.
