So far he's been better then I thought he would be. It will be interesting to see how his stuff translates the second time around the league.
Hi Newinn, one of the reasons I was bullish on Kuroda this offseason was his statistics on the road were slightly better than Dodger Stadium and IIRC his interleague statistics were relatively on par with his National League stats. Of course that doesn't mean that success in the A.L. East is a given but I considered him lower risk to flop in the Bronx and better than the alternatives (not counting Darvish).
All in all I've liked what I've seen of his game so far this season. That said I'd like to see him get a little lower in (and out of) the strike zone though.
Hey Sripes! I was seriously against the signing but so far he has surprised. I hope he continues because the rotation has more questions then answers now and they need solid starts consitently. I'm pulling for the guy and I have actually enjoyed watching him pitch
Real nice outing from Kuroda. He got some help from Nunez making a few adventurous plays in left and from Martin who stood on his head in the 7th. I won't go on about Martin, because I was told in chat last night that what he did in the 7th was nothing worth mentioning.
Let me guess who!!! Not worth mentioning??? It only prevented the O's from tying the game. That's why I don't go into chat, Bomber.
I hear you luv. I go in for a few laughs, rarely stay for a whole game. Theres some good folks in there and then there are ....... Oh well, we all have opinions.

Thats two strong back to back performances by him. Him and CC have a nice 1-2 punch going last 2 starts.
I'm certainly relieved to see these two performances ... he was getting me a bit worried before that ... looks like the Yankees may have made the right move in picking him up ... I know a few people questioned the need for him when we traded for Pineda ... well, we now see how that has worked out!
