Another great thing about the emergence of D-Rob as an elite setup guy...


It's finally silenced all the "Joba is the next closer" hollering and chest pounding from the Joba bullpen fanboys. Surely they're intelligent enough to see the writing on the wall now. In fact- even though I will never believe that it was the right move to put Joba in the pen in the first place,  it doesn't bother me as much anymore that he'll probably come back as a reliever. I know he will never be the permanent closer for this team and thank goodness for that. I want the future closer of the Yankees to be good. D-Rob is really good. Joba isn't. Never was. And never will be.


Thank goodness that nonsense is FINALLY over. Thank you D-Rob!
