Rat you hate Cashman and always have. I think you would blame him for trading Maris to St. Louis if you could and nothing will ever change you mind so I don't see any sense talking with you about him

Once again, perhaps it's not the weight but it is the mind set. You get traded to a new team in the biggest market in the world, you're 23 years old, wouldn't you want to make a positive impression? I don't understand the mind set. 23 and out of shape for a proffessional athlete just seems so wrong to me. It's not Cashman's responsibility imo it's the least a player should do. Stay in shape and play hard. That's up to the player to do, other things like injury are out of their control.

Well said.  Your wife writing your posts again? lol

Nah, see what a month of resting your brain can do.Smile

Now I know what I need to do. lol    Your post was right on the money though.  There's no excuse for him to come in overweight.  If that was me I'd make sure I was in the best shape possible for my 1st year in NY.  With this media market and fanbase you want to make a good 1st impression, at least I would.  I hope they're on top of him thru this rehab experience, especially in the offseason.

Its not uncommon for teams to keep their eye on certain players in the off season and presribe workout regimens for them. Apparently, with Hughes coming into camp overweight last year the Yanks aren't putting much effort into this phase of the game. Maybe that's why their pitchers are having so many injury problems.

I've ignored you posts 'til you adressed me. I will refrain from responding in the future because I refuse to go down this road with you again. I get zero enjoyment out of it
