Still adjusting to the AL, but fortunately, he has two things in his favor:

1. He's 37 and knows how to capital P Pitch.
2. He has Russell Martin, who was his favorite target.

That explains his being up and down so far.

Last night was encouraging because he backed up his previous very good start.  He knows how to pitch, so I expect him to be pretty good for the most part.  With his type stuff in the AL though, I won't be surprised with the occasional shelling either.  I never bought him as a #2, but he's been better than I expected for the most part so far.
