Cano, Arod and Teix have a combined 3 RBIs and average .312 OBP. That's not going to help ya win many games.

I have no idea what you are talking about they have 27 r.b.i.s combined. At first I thought you meant batting cleanup but even thats wrong both Arod and Cano have 3 r.b.i.s batting cleanup and Tex hasnt hit 4th at all.

Cano alone has 4 RBI, so that can't be right.

Burying your argument with the facts.

No matter what numbers he stated, the truth is all three are doing nothing to help this team offensively.. Pretty tough to win games when your three, four, and five hitters are stinking up the place..

I'm hoping this is just a funk we're in here.. Pitching is struggling right now and so are the bats, going to have to change to get this team on a roll...

I think what you're saying is that this team will roll when the offense does.  If so, I think you're right.

No matter what the correct numbers are, I agree with Ninja,  the fact remains those 3 guys in the middle of this lineup have not gotten the job done - yet.  Add that to the horrendous pitching of Garcia and Hughes and we should be very happy this team has the record they have right now.  Garcia's out, and Hughes looked a little better, minus the usual longballs.  I'm hoping Andy helps that rotation too.  Eventually those guys will hit, its just a matter of when.  Right now Tex and Cano look totally lost at the plate.  I haven't seen Cano swing at so many pitches out of the strikezone in years.  But, I have no doubt at all that they will hit and this team will go on a nice run when that happens.

Its early, both of these guys are unbelievable and knowledgable hitters, once they get out of their funk this lineup will be even more scary to face on a nightly basis!

Nova is only about 2 or 3 pitches a game from being in the Hughes/Garcia category. He has a 5.18 ERA and the opposition is hitting .343 and tonight didn't help that.
