Cannot understand posts like this from people who claim to be fans of the team. Unless you're simply a young person and part of the "What have you done for me-me-me lately" generation, then it makes sense I suppose.

Good post, we have alot of people, who call themselves Yankee fans on this Yes Board who are obsesses with every pitch and play of the game, with no regard to success or failure of the game. Baseball season is very long filled with peaks of high and lows for a team and it's players, it's not like football where have a week to explain and complain about your team's game performance. The game goes on daily with the bascially  the same line-up with the pitcher being the change.

As for comedy, The 3 Stooges for the Mets fan, the New York Yankees have had more class just ask LouWink

Clipper

Yankees Iron Horse Lou Gehrig with Broadway stars "The Marx Brothers," who were die hard Yankee Baseball Fans

You're right. I can't say for the poster but it seems like there are a lot of people that became Yankee fans in 1995.

It's suppose to be a joke.... get it. Ha Ha!

I was never a fan of the 3 stooges.... too violent for me.

I can think of a couple posters who could be named stooges.

Max,

That is so true I can't stand bandwagon fans, they are so phony!. This group never would have been able to handle the CBS Years (1965-1973). They would have been jumping off the GWB in droves!

I really don't get how some of these "fans" make it through 162 games a year or can stand to watch any of the games. Yes,there are games where you want to rip your hair out. Yes there are flaws with this team right now. Many other teams are in the same boat right now as well. I truly don't get how you can watch a game and predict doom and gloom the whole time but some posters and chatters have it down ot a fine art.
