GlenninVirginia Posts: 5,705	...The Sport of Politics is the second most popular part of the YES Boards, second only to the "Yankees" section. I have to take a lot of the credit for that; because back in the days we only had the "Yankees" section and the "Open Forum," I started making political comments and, first thing you knew, a lot of other people joined in and, not to long after, Chas created "The Sport of Politics" to accommodate all the interest that generated. If you don't believe me, you could ask Chas.

I love it...gives me an opportunity to vent and TRY to convey things the media wont report....and to get encouragment knowing I'm not alone in my very strong opinions. The venting part is crucial, especially with this Admin. This Aug will be 5 yrs here and although I originally came for Yankees stuff , being a political junkie I was thrilled to see this section.

prof. quiz Posts: 2,810	Thank you Glen + Chas I came here 4 years ago to voice my displeasure with the '08 underperforming Yankees and found the basement. Now I hardly go upstairs...too uncivilized!
