craner7 Posts: 12,762	Just home BG. Yanks got pounded by the Jr blosox. 9-3. Figueroa ( any relation to Ed ?) got hammered, even the outs were bombs. Cervelli 2-3 2 rbi.....Jack Cust looks over matched, his days are done it seems. Nice catch in LF by Laird....3B man Mustilier looks like a prospect. Now its Andy tomorrow.

AJFreeway Posts: 4,681	I really miss Cervelli. He was a good kid and could really swing the bat. He might have been slightly worse defensively than Martin, but he;s faster and gets more hits for us. He went on a tear in spring training and I believe he deserved a roster spot. "I'm an angel in an Earth suit."

craner7 Posts: 12,762	Me too AJ. I didnt like the move. And what liked seeing tonight was Cervelli was the same happy lovin baseball guy we saw in NY, even at a Class A ballpark with 1800 watching.

craner7 Posts: 12,762	Oh...BG....that guy Gomez for the Jr Blosox.....he looks like a monster and hit a monster HR tonight....know anything about him? BTW....left in the top of the 8th and missed Melancom! I was cold lol....the wife wore a winter coat and I was mocking her. Turned out she was the wise one.
