That's what I think, yes. I believe he felt pressure to make some moves, to make it look like he was doing something to improve the team. And he over-reacted IMO. He got Kuroda and that should have been enough. The Montero trade was completely unnecessary after Kuroda signed. I also feel he shouldn't have let AJ go, but that's really more my personal thing as I like the guy and thought he just needed more time to work things out.

 He had plenty of time to work things out. He simply couldn't pitch in NY. You could literally run a clock on how long it would take him to implode.

actually i miss the guy but glad hes gone....if only hughes went with him...would have been perfect
