if McCain had Ronald Reagan as his running mate it wouldn't of made a lick of difference - if anyone couldn't see that sometime around late June/early July Obama was a shoo-in then they were just in denial....

Exactly!  I have explained before here that it was apparent to the McCain campaign in around June/early July that he could not win.  These guys are masters at interpreting polls and determining likelihoods.  Palin was a throw away pick, so as not to hurt the party any further.  You don't pick a viable candidate when you think you'll have a shot in the next 4 years.   You save that candidate for the next go 'round.

As I told a friend recently, a yellow donkey could have run on the Democrat ticket in 2008 and have won.

Well, you're close, a yella donkey did win!

and so people don't ask me what I'm talking about ... I'm using this definition:

(Yella is used by American country folk in place of the word "chicken" ... when the word "chicken" is used as an adjective.)

I didnt read thru the entire post however, McCain didnt lose the election to Obozo b/c he was not conservativ enough, he lost it b.c his campaign sucked and the media refused to vet POTUS.

Exactly!!! Perfectly said Joe. Plus the fact the media went full bore wild like a pack of wolves after Palin. It was disgusting to see how they did all they could to ignore, cover up or belittle away ANYTHING regarding the Fraud while sending an army to Alaska to dig under every rock for ANYTHING on Palin....including her kids. An absolutely disgusting display of " journalism ".

Well it helps when you have 95% of the main media reaching the folks being part of his campaign instead of being journalists.
