If you don't mind Craner, for my fellow Catholics down here, just a reminder that today is Ascension Thursday ... all others please excuse my intrusion:

The Feast of the Ascension, also known as Ascension Thursday, Holy Thursday, or Ascension Day, commemorates the bodily Ascension of Jesus into heaven. It is one of the ecumenical feasts (i.e., universally celebrated) of Christian churches, ranking with the feasts of the Passion, of Easter, and Pentecost. In the Roman Catholic church it is also known as the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord. Ascension Day is traditionally celebrated on a Thursday, the fortieth day of Easter, although some Roman Catholic provinces have moved the observance to the following Sunday.

Post anything you like Mo.

You're a sweetheart ... thank you!

Joe I'm an NHL nut. Oh man what a great thing for you that you were at Lake Placid in '80. I can only imagine how wild it was. After things calmed down we all started to worry if team USA would have a letdown in the next game. Lucky for us, Brooks (may he RIP) made sure that it didn't happen.

We had one of the players on the Sabres....Mike Ramsay???? Sound right Max?

I remember him, if I'm not mistaken he was a defenseman.

Yep....and there was another one but I can remember......as far as your rememberance on the store and your mom I have those memories with my grandparents, Mom was too busy to do that stuff with 6 kids and one handicapped....those memories always feel so warm inside hey Max...carefree days of childhood. Eat yams!

say, craner...with all the talk about prune juice...I recommend you wash those yams down with 12 or 8 ounces of prune juice...organic is the best...taking these two cures should have you "right as rain" (what do you suppose that means/)...

All cured....we can now move on from the lovely subject

Holy Thursday is my fav liturgy, even more so than Easter's Mass of the Resurection. I had mny feet washed when I made Cursillio. Very moving, to point of tears.  Sadly, the Mass of the Resurection  means the most when we bury our loved ones, as we are reminded that it's not "good bye" we are saying but rather "see ya later!"

An amazing thing to think about Joe...the Son of God washing the feet of others.

WOW ... that's pretty artistic there Craner ... you're such a lovely man ... a man who cares so much about his family ... I'm lucky enough in life to have a man like you in my life ... my husband ... your family and mine are both blessed for having the kind of men you are in our lives.
