You might be able to find it in your local supermarket if you look really carefully. It's got an orange label, and there are usually only a couple of bottles of it. After the horror stories I heard about it, I tried to buy only 1 can of it, but all I could find were 12-packs or 2-liter bottles, so I opted for the 2-liter. The store also had Diet Moxie, and from what I've heard, the only thing worse than regular Moxie is Diet Moxie, so I stayed away from that stuff altogether.

Here's a picture of the bottle and cans:

I never heard of it. But now if I see it I will give it a try just to see if it's the worse soda ever. As far as the best soda. Manhattan Special will always be my favorite.

Joe I'm an NHL nut. Oh man what a great thing for you that you were at Lake Placid in '80. I can only imagine how wild it was. After things calmed down we all started to worry if team USA would have a letdown in the next game. Lucky for us, Brooks (may he RIP) made sure that it didn't happen.

We had one of the players on the Sabres....Mike Ramsay???? Sound right Max?

I remember him, if I'm not mistaken he was a defenseman.

Yep....and there was another one but I can remember......as far as your rememberance on the store and your mom I have those memories with my grandparents, Mom was too busy to do that stuff with 6 kids and one handicapped....those memories always feel so warm inside hey Max...carefree days of childhood.

Phil Housley?

"...let it be known that as of this date in Major League Baseball history the one, truly honest single season home run record...61 in '61..."

No we're thinking of members of the USA Olympic team that beat the Soviet Union in 1980, upset of the Century, who played with Sabres. There is more and a google would probably find the answer.

Herb Brooks' team?

Before he created that "Miracle" 1980 olympic hockey team ,he coached the MN (UNIV) Golden Gophers I think?

I remember that team.  I also remember when America was far more patriotic. I remember when we had a healthy "____" for our opponents and understood what countries across the globe could be trusted and which could not.  The Soviets were not our friends then... and ....
