We feel that way every time you're in chat and you make threads Jonah.
Except I'm right.
Mark Feinsand: What is Girardi seeing during the RISP at-bats? "I didn’t see guys chasing balls out of the zone with runners in scoring position, I didn’t. Jeet lined out a couple of times. Raul lined out once. He hit one to the left-center field wall. I think the at-bats are pretty good, we’re just coming up empty."
Girardi will sound like he's ready to cry again. He'll talk about how the entire team is struggling.
Girardi and the players will all basically say, "Look, we're TRYING! Can't you SEE how bad we feel about all this? It's out of our hands! Please, pity us!"
Girardi on his team's effort: "You know I don’t like to lose, and everyone in that room doesn’t like to lose. But it’s not from lack of effort. If I saw a lack of effort, that would upset me. But I'm not seeing that. I’m seeing guys do their work. I'm seeing them do their work on the field, off the field, paying attention. It’s just frustrating when it doesn’t go your way."
When will frustration turn into concern for Girardi? "I don’t think I would ever get there, I don’t. I’ve seen these guys do it too many times and be successful, and put good at-bats. So in my heart I believe it’s going to change."
