Israel spying on US: A long history

Yankee1954 Posts: 8,749	So why do so many people in this country pay such homage to Israel? What do they do for us besides drag us into the middle of their fights? How good is an ally if they are spying and stealing our secrets? Former CIA counterterrorism officer Philip Giraldi is on a mission. He says he wants to expose how costly and dangerous Israeli espionage is to the United States. Giraldi is the Executive Director of the Council for the National Interest Foundation which just released a 12 page overview written by Giraldi called The Spy Who Loves Us. He says Israel conducts more espionage against America than any other US ally. Giraldi says Israel profits from selling US technology. Giraldi says Israeli spying has bankrupted some American companies. According to his report, virtually all US government bodies including the FBI and General Accountabilty office have confirmed that Israeli espionage takes place. And while collecting intelligence is part of the function of government, Israel crosses the line. Giraldi says the intensity and persistency of Israel spying is paticularly disturbing considering how much Israel reliees on the US for political and military support. Giraldi says Israeli lobbies have too much power in Washington. Giraldi has written about israeli espionage for The American Conservative. He also has a regular column in the magazine called Deep Background.

Yankee1954 Posts: 8,749	As the Libs or Progressives or whatever you want to call us know the Cons are like crickets when it comes to our posts, especially when they know they are wrong, which is 100% of the time. They can't fight facts with facts. they will retaliate with jokes they think are funny and then their pals jump on the wagon and tell them how funny they are. They will call names too, I do that to but I always try to argue or discuss or reason. Thats when the names start flying. As some of you know I have been threatened with banishment for an article I wrote a couple of days ago. This will not deter me from arguing my side. I see the names I am called don't seem to bother the Mod but so be it. We will continue to argue whats right and fair.

craner7 Posts: 12,815	Israel isnt perfect but its a great nation, a free Democratic nation surrounded by insane madmen driven by a religion of hate to destroy them. We must have their back. And that means getting the Jew hater out of the WH in Nov. Jeremiah Wright will be sad however.

You guys on the Right accuse us on the Left of never saying anything bad about Obama or other Dems. Of course, thats a lie but tell me how you could ever say the things you do. Just what does someone or something have to do to get your disapproval? Israel is spying on us all the time, they steal defense secrets and sell them to China. This costs our country billions and could kill us in the end. So why doesn't that make you angry at Israel? They always take advantage of us. I will get banned but the things your side says is over the line too. The joke's on you in November.

Let them believe what they want to believe. They have their agenda, and whether it is right or wrong, they are going to stick to it no matter what. No point in arguing with them about it; if you know you are right, it really doesn't matter what they think. Burying your argument with the facts.
