I thought they should add another prospect and get McLouth instead of Nady. Apparently the Braves felt he was the real deal too. If the Yanks could get him for cheap could he be worse than Wise?

While there can occasionally be other reasons why a team might DFA a worthwhile player, that's not the case here IMO.
