Strasburg may indeed be a stud starter but he's still largely an unknown. I would do that deal in a heartbeat; it's Washington that would pull away, imo. Cano, an outstanding player and I love him, is about to team with Boras to extract over 200 mill and 7-8 years from an unknown source, and that will make someone who already doesn't run out ground balls very comfortable. *While I agree with you that Cano is a defensive stud, if you pay attention to the UZR nonsense, and I don't, Cano ranks consistently below average* at his position the past few years, lol.**

Considering Strasburg's past surgery and the fact that he left a game injured Sunday it's surprising this thread got any "baseball" responses. Last Fall when I suggested trading Cano for King Felix most posters thought it ludicrous, why suddenly has Cano's value dropped around here? aol.sportingnews.com/mlb/story/2012-05-2...

LOL I would trade for Felix even quicker if he approved but he has consistently said no to the Yankees.
