I wouldn't get too excited people. The Tigers have been struggling and don't look like the same team that was in the playoffs. We should have swept the series. They were 6-3 on the trip but 3 of those wins came against a crappy Oakland team and they were lucky not to get swept by the Angels.

Now this is what I don't get. If they were 3-6, got beat by the A's and lost 2 of 3 to a team picked as one of the favorites to win the AL, many would be on here "getting excited." AJ Freeway and Fatgiambi would be on here telling us how the team stinks, everyone should be traded and yada yada yada. So I say, GET EXCITED PEOPLE, we had a great road trip, Hughes Kuroda and CC looked great so "LET"S PARTY."

It was a great roadtrip. Much better than I thought it would be. I was thinking more like 3-6 or 4-5 if we got a break.

You just love bringing me into this. Tell me, if this team went 3-6, wouldn't those complaints be justified? I never criticize anything that isn't deserving of criticism, and there were maybe three people on this board who thought they would win today.

I ALWAYS think the Yankees will win. So if I was not 1 of the 3, make it 4.

newinn, I have no idea what your problem is, but you sure do love to single me out. There wasn't a single person on the boards who wasn't complaining when they lost yesterday.

who's talking about yesterday. How about everyday we lose and you come on telling us how you knew they would or why player x stinks and never comes through. If everyone says the same thing about you always complaining, perhaps you might want to evaluate the valididty of it. Like 've said a bunch of times AJ, I think you are a nice young man but you look at the season like it's the 16 game NFL season. You have very little understanding of the 162 game schedule
