Real good road trip...coulda been even better when you think about it. Rays at home this week...gonna be fun. Mets next weekend!

With a couple of key hits with RISP this trip could have easily been 9-1, but I'm very happy with 6-3.Smile

newinn, I have no idea what your problem is, but you sure do love to single me out. There wasn't a single person on the boards who wasn't complaining when they lost yesterday.

I was raving mad when they lost last nite AJ, and it was topped off by a Devils OT loss. (Who ratman ASSURED us would win in 5 games vs LA--he doesnt know hockey either, cant wait to hear his rant on that)--- Yea, there was quite a bit to rag on at times but, they dug deep and found ways to bounce back and pull off a real good trip. Seeing Hughes toss a CG was a thrill for us fans no? Keep your eye on the big picture and youll find there's postives to pull from just about every negative. Life's happier that way my friend. I wouldn't get too excited people. The Tigers have been struggling and don't look like the same team that was in the playoffs. We should have swept the series. They were 6-3 on the trip but 3 of those wins came against a crappy Oakland team and they were lucky not to get swept by the Angels.

Tongue Out

Now this is what I don't get. If they were 3-6, got beat by the A's and lost 2 of 3 to a team picked as one of the favorites to win the AL, many would be on here "getting excited." AJ Freeway and Fatgiambi would be on here telling us how the team stinks, everyone should be traded and yada yada yada. So I say, GET EXCITED PEOPLE, we had a great road trip, Hughes Kuroda and CC looked great so "LET"S PARTY."

who's talking about yesterday. How about everyday we lose and you come on telling us how you knew they would or why player x stinks and never comes through. If everyone says the same thing about you always complaining, perhaps you might want to evaluate the valididty of it. Like 've said a bunch of times AJ, I think you are a nice young man but you look at the season like it's the 16 game NFL season. You have very little understanding of the 162 game schedule

Newinn, bingo on what you said.. We all vent on here, even those of us that are fans AJ. Yesterday's loss was certainly a venting one. What new, gotta and the rest of us don't do is make negative prediction before the game is even played. You had us losing the Detroit series and have us losing to the Rays before the series even starts.

Yes,there are plenty of things to be frustrated about (like Cano) but to predict a negative outcome in every series and in every game, that's why people single you out.

Joe, I don't remember if I made a pick on the number of games, but I knew the Kings would win the Cup since the second round started. The team with the most momentum almost always wins the title, and with the parity in the NHL, seeding means very little. The Kings seem to be unbeatable on the road, and that is a huge benefit when you start the series on the opponent's home ice. I honestly expected it to be over in 5 games. The Devils have won 3 Cups already. Let the Kings have one. ;)

The offense will remain an engima but it's good to get W's anyway they can. Good for the Yanks, maybe they can get on a roll here and throw some water to cool off the Mets.

Very impressive outing by Phil yesterday. Smile After the  game Saturday night I considered it a lost series because of Verlander. Overall a good series and road trip for the club.
