awesome stuff, I just watched the Ken Burns series again a couple of months ago...  now watching 'The War' - his series on WWII - it's beyond amazing, watch it with your kids (10 or over, some gruesome scenes - nothing glamorous about war...)

Taurus if Stonewall Jackson been there and not killed at Chancellorsville I'm betting he would've had the high ground that Ewell failed to take. Jackson never failed Lee and I really think his death was the turning point in that war.

Artie Burns does awesome work. His Civil War series was incredible as was his baseball one. Is this latest one on PBS?


Kids NEED to watch these things. They are not learning American history, correctly anyway, in schools.

it came out in 2007, you can see it on Netflix
