Mitt Romney encouraged President Obama that he’d be well-served by adopting elements of the Massachusetts Romneycare plan, particularly the individual mandate.
The op-ed demonstrates that Mitt regarded Romneycare precisely as a model the federal government ought to adopt, and that the “tax penalties” by which Massachusetts’s individual mandate are enforced were a good fit for Congress and the Obama administration to impose by federal law.

Yeah, I despise any politician that would want compulsory health care but these are the choices we are left with.  We are still better off with Romney because he attempts to placate those that are demanding fiscal responsibility and Obama with four years to operate without a future election looming would have no impediment to promoting his horrendous policies, and then there is the issue of the Surpeme Court...

I know, Mitt favors the Zombie Economic ideas of the Monetarists.  They are just as discredited as those of the Keynesians and the variants of Neo-Keynsians (which I would lump the Monetarist in with because they concede some of Keynes' false hypotheses).  The problem is we are so economically illiterate because of the intensional neglect in teaching it in our public schools that most are not aware of the track record of these policies or are placated with the unrealistic threat that it would have been worse without oligarchic meddling.

So you'd rather have a coward that does what he's told. I can't wait for Mittens to go up against Putin. What a tough guy, maybe he will have the secret service hold Putin down while Little Mitt shaves his head. And no impediment? Like the last 3 years and the filibuster. Geen, just stop lying.
