I gotta say one good thing about the Mets ... the manager Collins gave a good stand-up interview after the losses.

Okay ... now that's the very last good thing I'm ever saying about the Mets.

With that said, news are reporting Met fans are marching towards the BQE bridge as we speak.

Oh, I hope they wait until we sweep them at the Citi dump!

Yeah, a $hitifield sweep would be excellent.

Yankees finish Subway sweep

The Yankees walked off with a Subway Series sweep, beating the Mets 5-4 on Russell Martin’s leadoff home run in the bottom of the ninth. Rafael Soriano blew a save for the first time as a Yankee, letting the Mets tie the game on back-to-back doubles in the ninth, but Boone Logan stranded the tying run at third base and set the stage for Martin’s second homer of the game. Unable to score through the first six innings, the Yankees made the most of their final opportunities. They’d hit into three double plays, squandered every scoring opportunity and trailed 3-0 before a two-out error opened the door to Martin’s two-run home run in the seventh. Four straight singles in the eighth gave the Yankees two more runs, with Alex Rodriguez driving in the go-ahead run on a bloop single to right. Andy Pettitte allowed three runs – two earned — through six innings and took a no decision.

Rat I've been tough on you. Get one on me and send me the bill. I'm at Bellvue.  Just write "Loon" on it.
