Yanks hitting .218 with RISP

Worse... only two teams with a worse RISP are in the NL (pitcher hitting) (Miami and San Diego).

In fact, no AL team is under .240 (Seattle is second worse RISP team with .243).

But you can't entirely blame the DH, since the Yanks DH is hitting .294.

So, basically, it's a teamwide collapse.

Check this out, and tell me it's not disturbing:

Worst in majors with RISP (min 25 AB)

Worst: Eric Chavez (1 for 22, .045)
#17: Robinson Cano (9 for 61, .148)
#24: Andruw Jones (4 for 25, .160)
#27: Russell Martin (7 for 43, .163)
#76: Raul Ibanez (12 for 58, .207)
#94: Alex Rodriguez (14 for 64, .215)
#101: Curtis Granderson (13 for 59, .220)
#113: Mark Teixeira (15 for 66, .227)

The worst part of the Yankees losing besides the Yankees losing is that some people surface from the sewers here.

Yanks 0 for 4 with RISP. Twice with the tying run on base.
