ninja108 Posts: 3,660	Kansas City only won the 85 World Series because of a botched call by the umpire. That's nice they "stood" up to Robinson Cano,they still show no support for their team on a regular basis. And Trumbo WAS the right choice over Butler,period.

laurenfrances Posts: 14,987	How often does a team host such an event? Unbelievable, Royals waited 39 years for the ASG to return KC only to exhibit such classless behavior. ASG is a venue to celebrate the game of baseball. Unlike those shameless fans, you can see players of various teams getting together for some fun and good times. With national broadcasting, KC fan base took away the celebratory mood and replaced it with a negative feel. That is not what ASG is all about....shame on them. I recalled Yankees hosting the ASG as our fans showed their delight when Hamilton and Morneau drill those majestic bombs out of the stadium. It's a night I still recall with awe....indeed it was filled to happy fans showing appreciation. I wonder if those ridiculous fans are going to continue slamming Cano when the actual ASG proceeds. Being bottom feeders, they don't really care if AL win or lose. Nice showcase of class as the entire country looks on... In regards to Trumbo, no way is Butler superior to him in regards to drilling the long ball. It was the right choice...and indeed Cano picked well as AL won. Always proud to be a Yankee fan.
