Yes I can.  In 1995, I was self employed, so was my wife.  We had a COBRA policy (Tufts)  from her prior-employer is was about $560 a month.  We shopped around and found a less expensive policy with Blue Cross Blue Shield, every year thereafter the monthly premiums went lower when I eventually left private practice in 2000 I was paying about $350 a month
