Jeez Loon, you really got the pom-poms out for King George, don't ya.
If you have specific quotes from them, then go for it.
But there are books out there detailing the idiocy that was King George, from The Bronx Zoo to Balls (Nettles). And one of Martin's quotes was pretty good "The two men deserve each other. One's a born liar, the other's convicted."
But this isn't about making it personal, this is speaking from the "baseball" man King George wasn't.
T, you can rattle off 15 bad things Abraham Lincoln did without mentioning a single positive and it's the same point. Rather than take our words for it, ask the following people how they feel about George: Reggie, Goose, Randolph, Diana Munson, Guidry, Mattingly, Pettitte, Tino, Jeter, Torre, Billy Martin's kids & widow, Catfish's widow, Murcer's widow, O'Neill, Bernie, Strawberry, Gooden, Girardi, Winfield (yea even him), Yogi (even him), the list goes on. Maybe Zimmer and a few others will agree he was evil incarnate but the list above - those who were most affected by him in the public eye - trump Zimmer & Co.
