61, I don't think anyone is saying you cannot call a move a blunder. But we have seen, countless times, posters use idiot, ****, stupid, ****, and also many others that either had to be misspelled to get passed the censors or ****. Thats the kind of discussion points made by grade school kids

"I don't think anyone is saying you cannot call a move a blunder."

Qwik did in his thread title.

I interpreted Qwik as saying, someone called a Joe G move a blunder and it actually was the correct move.

And what is wrong with that? We have all second guessed moves Girardi has made. Its what fans do. Its what the talking heads on sports radio do given the limited information that fans and writers have. I've even heard the YES announcers question some of Girardi's moves.

Many of us complained that Laird wasn't brought up when A-Rod went down. Does that makes us whiners? When I found out Igarashi was being called up I asked the question if there wasn't a better choice because I saw disaster written all over it. As it turned out he gave up the runs that decided the game. Does that make me a fool if we find out Igarashi had a hangnail?

I think this is more about the poster who made the "blunder" comment than about the comment itself. If one of the popular kids made the comment nothing would have been said. Or maybe even qwik would have agreed.  It seems its all about who you are around here, rather than what you actually say.

Qwik is Right you guys seem to Jump all over Joe when he makes a move like this, what if CC was left to play and then his arm went out and to be taken out of the game.

Then when the press get him in the locker room and he explains to the media that he felt something was wrong with his arm before the game but he felt he can still pitch what would you guys have done............

You would all call Joe an idiot?? Why becuase he wanted to make sure that nothing serious happen to CC.

61, we are arguing the same side of this discussion.  I have no problem with calling a move a blunder.  I also have no problem with Qwik or anyone else saying that the "so-called blunder" was in fact the right move.  I do think its going too far calling any of these guys idiots, dopes, or any number of censored names.  It's just my 2 cents.

Aussie I might have missed it, did someone question Girardi pulling CC to soon? I feel he usually leaves him in to long which might be why he is having problems now. Some games he just doesn't have it and he gives up a lot of runs and Joe still leaves him in for his 100 plus pitches.

I guess we should just shut this forum down then. Why bother commenting about something that we know nothing about?

Yeah, but your commenting (as well as others) is just plain stupid. After all, your just some guy with ZERO professional baseball experience, ZERO people experience, ZERO managerial experience, & ZERO baseball-managerial-people experience.

LOL...you're just some guy, along with others, who suffers from serious case of delusions of grandeur who think you know more than 10% of anything regarding baseball or perhaps any other sport.

Just go back and look at how many time you and like-minded people have been wrong.....it's perhaps about 80%. If you ask me, that's embarrassing. It's quite disheartening given that I know you are an older fella than me, but not even close to 10% to my great brain. (LOL).
