I'm curious how Nix is a better DH choice over Mcghee or Pearce.. Why aquire them if you are not going to use them...

I like Nix for some reason. I think he fills his role quite well.

Just got home from the US Open, so haven't been watching the game. Has Kuroda pitched poorly all game? Just saw the hr by JJ Hardy.

This yankee team is not what their record says they are.  After this weekend, they will be tied by baltimore.  They are not in the class of baltimore.  They have fight, the yankees have not shown it all year.  This is the real yankees this year, mediocre and 3rd place at best.  Girardi bis way over his head with this team.

From what we can see all the analysis, film watching to dissect at bats is not working. A Serious chat with Jeter and whoever else involved has probably happened.

When you try too hard you grip the bat tighter.  When you grip the bat tighter nothing happens.  The team perhaps need to chill out ...go to strip club, what ever means necessary to loosen up.  What else can I say.  With all that talent possessed, how do you explain the situation they find them self in......Frown

One things for sure..I aim in trying hard not to let this debacle lead me to a road of misery. If anything this should bother them more than it bothers me.  Undecided  Time to read a few chapters in my book and avoid sports radio..... No need to revisit the scene of the crime. Sealed

Always proud to be a Yankee fan.

Lauren, I think this will sound crazy but I believe could help.. According to a source, the first callup from the Yankees tomorrow will be Cervelli. You know what happened in 09. Cervelli reanimated a dead team back at the time with his charisma and will to play. And he's coming in the perfect time. I think Cervelli can turn the spark in this team.I hope it occurs..

I'm not hitting the panic button yet.. But im frustrated with the way this team is playing.. Makes me go to NY and hit them.. But oh well.. Tomorrow's another day..
