As I figured, just another butt hurt Republican partisan throwing a fit. Hey, if you really mean it, then by all means hit the road and find a better place. More power to ya!

LOL

You figured wrong.  As far as I am concerned the Republican Party can go the way of the Whigs.  It would please me if the political divide could be between liberty and statism even if I would always be doomed to come up short just so I wouldn't have to hold my nose to vote.  I changed my party affiliation to Republican this year to vote for Ron Paul in the primary but he made no showing here because he supports lifting the embargo on Cuba.  I voted for Romney because here in Florida as you can see he really had a chance to defeat Obama for the 29 delegates, the enemy of my enemy is...  I liked Gary Johnson's entire platform and he was an excellent Governor, in any state where my vote would be marginalized he would have had it but he is a little squirrely eyed and not a great public speaker.

Even if Romney was successful it would have only been part of the battle, I still would have wanted Rand Paul and Mike Lee to expand the movement and hold the President's stones to the fire making party line votes anything but a foregone conclusion.

Instead my own district voted for Allen Grayson.  If he would throw out his entire platform after auditing the Fed I'd have an open mind but I'm afraid I heard enough the first time around.

We'll see where the chips fall but I know I'll never be a reliable asset to a statist.

Wow! I didn't know Obama had all the power, more than any other person ever had, and can single handedly crush the country by himself!

Stay away from bridges and sharp objects.

Each President seems to accroach a little more power than those that came before him and each time it is precedent setting.  The Democrats also made south in both houses of congress.  This election can only be construed as an attaboy and stay the course by the American public.  If the President didn't have a want mandate before he does now and all politicos know it.  Run outrageous deficits, target largesse and pander to allies and constituents, expand the role of the Federal govenment even where there is zero evidence of it being beneficial,...  I thought the last four years have been rough but apparently and nobody else agrees or they actually blame the Republicans and Blue Dogs for not rubber stamping his every whim.  Perhaps this is part of human nature, FDR had the longest tenure of any US President during our Nation's worst economic times and his many usurpations with often miserable results that infringed upon individual rights were seen as benevolent, bold, experimentation.  Who is to say he wouldn't have continued to win with that approach if it wasn't for poor health?  Let's face it, only health issues could take down Stalin, Mao, Kim, Castro, Chavez, etc.  Throw out the founding vision, trample on individual sovereignty, and reward your allies.

Actually the election can be construed as a rejection of Romney and Ryan's policies. You say all these clever things about the economy but never talk about south. And since this was the first time we have ever had a recession like this how would someone noNow how to handle it but to try different ideas. The Depression lasted 12 years only because of WWII did it end. You seem to think Obama should have gotten us out after 3 years.

I actually truly believe we didn't prevent anything, we are floundering along deferring the consequences of past policies and eventually we will have to deal with them as well as the consequences of past solutions.  I don't know what you are talking about with the South, I grew up in New Jersey and moved to Florida to avoid crushing bureaucracy and bad weather.  I believe that racial issues will subside when we stop making it an issue if that is what you are talking about.
