Immorality, I have no qualms with liberals, socialists, communists or any other points of views.  I enjoy discussing issues with people with varying viewpoints.  That being said I dislike and resent populist pols like Pelosi, Grayson, and Obama because I truly believe that they are educated and know their history enough to know that their policies lower the quality of life of the average American but to them that is a small price to pay for the power that comes from an uninformed constituency motivated by dependency.  Failure is only failure for a politician when the it's traced back to them, otherwise it's opportunity.

"an uninformed constituency motivated by dependency". does telling yourself that somehow relieve the pain of your failures?

Welcome to the Alice-in-Wonderland mindset of those

suffering from conservatism:

People who say that they care about the poor, don't really care

about the poor.

But people who say that  they don't about the poor, really do

care about the poor.

My goals and expectations are modest but I call them like I see them, Remember my horse was Ron Paul and when he was elliminated my ideal would have been Gary Johnson and he didn't even get my vote out of pragmatism.  My expectations are already throttled way back.

Extenalities, unintended consequences, repercussions, liberty, value, contributions, investment,...  none of these are ever relevent to you.  In audio an equalizer function that brings the peak and average amplitude to one preset level is called normalization, this seems to be your economic prescription but I'm afraid it would have and has had a devistating impact on incentives.  Tell me honestly, if you attempt to manipulate individual A for the benefit of individual B but instead of acquiescing to your efforts individual A rebuffs your machinations and reacts in a manner deleterious to all interested parties but within individual A's right who would be at fault for the fallout?  You or individual A?

I hear from cons time and time again very selective

outrage about decisions that affect the markets.

If a decision negatively impacts the supply-side of the

equation, they will scream bloody murder.

If the reverse is true, they are very quiet.
