I am a Christian, but not a republican. In fact, I voted for a D, 3 Rs and a member of the Constitution Party. I believe in helping those who can't help themselves, traditional marriage and I am pro-life. I never look at the party affiliation in making my decision on who to vote for.

I am not a christian and not a republican. I believe in helping those who can't help themselves, traditional marriage and also recognize that everyone is not hetero and I favor the constitional principle of equality for all Americans so the phrase "traditional marriage" does not exclude gay couples and I am pro choice, yup its a baby alright, but it is not for me or more so the goverment's roll to make that choice for anyone but myself. I HAVE look at the party affiliation in making my decision on who to vote for as the Republican party platform specifically is designed to overreach into people lives where government and voters have no business incerting themselves.
I'm an Independent and a Christian. I am pro-life, and I am also for helping those less fortunate in society to get ahead. I don't see where either the D's or R's alone encompass my entire belief system ... hence why I am an Independent.
