OK, I took some poetic license. She whipped his butt in the ratings for 2 weeks and he liked it but that's another story for a different forum.

The author suggests viewers might be tiring of Ruse Corpse's cheerleading efforts for all things conservative but I doubt it. I'd bet it's a temporary lull for the same reasons the cons fled the basement. Their ill-conceived message of a GOP landslide never came to fruition and they're off sulking with their own ilk.

No wonder Sean's stance on immigration "evolved".

One day after the GOP suffered a crushing presidential defeat that spotlighted the party's unpopularity with Latino voters, Fox News star Sean Hannity announced that his position on undocumented immigrants had "evolved" and that he now supports a pathway to citizenship. (Listen above.)

Musing on his radio show about how his party could convince Latinos to switch parties, Hannity proposed a solution:

"We've gotta get rid of the immigration issue altogether. It's simple for me to fix it. I think you control the border first, you create a pathway for those people that are here, you don't say you gotta home. And that is a position that I've evolved on. Because you know what--it just--it's gotta be resolved. The majority of people here--if some people have criminal records you can send' em home--but if people are here, law-abiding, participating, four years, their kids are born here... first secure the border, pathway to citizenship... then it's done. But you can't let the problem continue. It's gotta stop."

I am conservative (not R, but I) and I haven't been here much because theres less to discuss now that the election is over. Additionally, the hurricane and noreaster that accompanied the election has kept me busier. No sulking for me, I pray Obama does a better job in the next 4 years and is successful. I pray even more, for those who continue to struggle to makes ends meet, many i some cases more so because of the hurricane.

Truth is they both stink and should be replaced. Sean spews old boring news and Maddow spews hate and intolerance. The two are so hard to listen to I would not waste my time doing so. Instead I just watch the network news to see how bad Obama is screwing up.

Wrong on one count, Hannity. Maddow is just too intelligent for you Cons!

I dont watch either, but looks like it was an election fluke, Hannity always had more total viewers, but maddow had the 25-54 demo. Now it looks like he grabbed that back.  Hannity inherits a ton of O'Reilly viewers, where Maddow really has to go out on her own and earn her viewer ship, Ed Schultz aint helping.

I don't agree with you on the Ed Schultz show, I like his show as well as any of the political talk shows.. He's one of the few everyday kind of guys on TV, needs to be a few more of those..

the talent level on MSNBC is far superior to anything FOX can put forward . just try and match micheal steele, ari melber, steve kornacki, chris hayes, steve schmidt, crystal ball and the list goes on,FOX is not even close

I am not a fan of cable news, because almost all of it is biased to one side or the other. Because of that I believe most who are left leaning would feel that MSNBC in particular has more talent than FOX and of course those who lean right would feel FOX has more talented anchors than MSNBC.  I am sure both have their share of talented folks as well as some who make you scratch your head as to why they are on TV.

The sad part of it all is that you cannot find "news" shows that give you the story without their personal spin.
