I should be watching Ranger hockey instead of How It's Made reruns. This team looked promising this year with the acquisition of Nash. I guess we'll never know. What BS.

Anyone still think sports are a game as opposed to a business?

the silence is deafening, on message boards, on the airwaves, etc, not a good sign. The league just seemed to finally find its footing again and now another lockout.  I dont think they realize the damage they are doing.

Yep, the silence is deafening. I can't believe there's so little coverage. Most people don't even realize there is lockout.

The NHL will always be relegated to the B list of professional sports. It's really too bad because it is such a great game.

they lost me for years as a fan after my team moved south and the lockouts. Tort and this gritty Ranger team had brought me back from exile , had me watching and I was becoming a casual fan.

Lockouts are harmful, especially frequent ones,fans/ people adapt , move on, find other things to do with their limited funds, times, etc. When these knucklehead owners finally turn on the lights in the arenas, they may find out no one is around anymore to be bothered to watch
