Craner and jeterforeverfan are on another site laughing t those that peek at their site and what is being said there while they are peeking and commenting on what they see here. It's the typical phony attitude they had that many chose not to see. They have always done exactly what they condem and accuse others of doing. Funny stuff.

Oh well, you think you know people ... but this is just a message board ... you never really know people.

Always liked Jimmy though ... never understood why he was deleted.

I just read the thread over there ... I don't understand why everyone can't just post here and let bygones be bygones ... YES should let bygones be bygones also, and allow Jimmy back.

By the way, if our political friends want to know the message board that some people have gone to, here is a link ...

www.usmessageboard.com/politics/

This is not the link to the other message board where only YES posters talk ... out of respect for Jimmy, I will keep that private.

and being I don't write on Jimmy's board, my response to Jeterforeverfan will have to go here ...

To JFF:  I honestly never meant to make you feel uncomfortable Jete ... my sincere apologies for anything I did that made you feel uncomfortable ... wish you would reconsider posting here ... I don't hold any grudges against anyone, and I am always willing to apologize for my shortcomings and let bygones be bygones.

and to Craner ...

You and I have no issues, as you stated, we even spoke privately after the storm ... I only created a thread wondering where everyone went and why ... you are missed.  Wink

LOL! I read some of the horse you know what on the website with the link Mo provided. I needed a good laugh. Now, exactly who turned on Craner? As he claimed on that website. Perhaps the Libs here are a little too smart. I like Craner but I think the message board got a little to hot for him after Obama got re-elected. When you dish it out you have to be able to take it. The board has been quite but I'd take a few quality posts over quantity posts anyday. For example the post that blamed Obama for some tasteless so called art that happened years ago. That just takes up message board space.

In my opinion, Jimmy wanted to get banned.

The site Mo posted is not the site Jimmy started here with craner, ratman, rose, mick7 and dinsy when he left here. Rat, rose  and mick have left there a while ago. Mo chose not to post it's address and I won't either but the true feelings come out on that site about posters at yes and politics.

I can't say for sure what Jimmy wanted ... but I don't think he wanted to be banned.  He was always a good and decent person when speaking with me ... I never had an issue with Jimmy ... always felt he was a good guy.

A lot of people take hobbies and interests too far.  Sometimes it can be a healthy distraction to devote yourself to something, other times it can be unhealthy.  I guess, only the person involved really knows.  I personally don't get upset when a team I root for loses, just as I don't feel a sense of accomplishment when they win.  It doesn't mean I don't care, just that I don't have an emotional attachment or investment in the outcome.  The same is true of politics.

Obama winning his second term really is not the end of life as we know it for anyone.  In fact, I doubt very little would actually be different if Romney had won, the only difference is the perception.  I just don't get the constant negativity.  I have said something similar before, but I can't see the hatred people have for Obama, actually having anything to do with Obama.  Obama is just a surrogate for that anger.  I can't tell you how many facebook posts where I see the same talking points that flooded this forum with craner here, and truth be told, it is just people repeating the same rhetoric that they read or hear from the same sources.  No one checks the facts, no one reads the articles, no one reads the transcripts, they just post the same garbage over and over.

I think in the long run, I really don't have a side.  The point of a forum is to discuss views and opinions, shared interests, etc.  Yet, at the same time, we should all have a desire to learn or to at least be informed.  If my view on something is flawed or inaccurate, it isn't something I take personally.  I don't get upset if I am proven wrong, because I would rather be proven wrong and corrected than to continue believing in something that (I) am Wrong about.

I am a major Yankee fan.

I love coming to this site to read the latest in regards to

the Yankees.

If one is really a Yankees fan, I don't understand the nexus

the election results and leaving this web site.

I searched and found this board you all are talking about. And so it appears Craner is bad mouthing some of us over there (including me). What a surprise, that.
