Rules are for thee, not for me.

What rule would that be? Besides, after Biden took the Republicans to the woodshed he deserved a raise. In fact all Democrats should have received a raise. And the make sure the deficit doesn't go up we should take the money from the Republicans. Deficit neutral.

Quite honestly, Biden and many Congressmen could be making salaries that dwarf the salaries they make in Washington, even with all the benefits.

yes, but ONLY because they were in congress....  without 'Senator' or 'Congressman' or 'US Vice President' on their resumes these idiots couldn't get a job running a Denny's....  these dopes stay in congress for the money - salary plus PERKS!  (and by perks I don't mean things like a pension and healthcare).  Ever wonder how these idiots make about 170k per year and live in 5 million dollar homes?

You are so full of it. Many of these Congressman and women were millionaires before they came to Congress. Do your homework. If you would have done your homework before the election you wouldn't have made all those foolish landslide predictions!

Under Obama the median US household income has dropped $4,520 a year but that didn’t stop him from giving Joe Biden and Congress a raise.

President Barack Obama issued an executive order to end the pay freeze on federal employees, in effect giving some federal workers a raise. One federal worker now to receive a pay increase is Vice President Joe Biden.

According to disclosure forms, Biden made a cool $225,521 last year. After the pay increase, he’ll now make $231,900 per year.

Members of Congress, from the House and Senate, also will receive a little bump, as their annual salary will go from $174,000 to 174,900. Leadership in Congress, including the speaker of the House, will likewise get an increase.

Wow, all that money for the VP? And to think he would still not be considered a topm2%!

For all his illegal backroom deals I believe he makes in excess of 5M per year.....

And that's the difference. You believe he makes 5 million but you really are clueless.

Now is not the time for raises for our country's top leaders. Their ridiculous pensions should also be more inline with what the average Federal Worker's pension is.

Why should you care as long as you keep getting that monthly check?

Quite a clever retort! I would expect that from you especially when you lied in the first place.
