They won't sign manny but if they did, I'll say the same thing I said a couple of years ago. I'll take time away from baseball before I watch that guy in Yankee pinstripes.

I felt that way when he played for the Red Sox. Guess years of watching PED abusers like Bonds and Clemens get off scott-free softened up my anti-Manny stance.

It's not the PEDS for me as much as the Cano x 10 lackidasical attitude. I hate players that don't go all out and as great as he was, he was one of the biggest dogs in baseball. Lack of hustle shows little respect for the game, your teamates and the fans. Regardless of the hatred towards Arod, the guy always worked hard to be the best he can be. I wouldn't say that about Manny or cano for that matter.

Given the state of the current Yankees lineup, I would support signing him as DH, something I would never have supported a few years back. If A-Rod can abuse PEDs for years and still be held in high esteem by the Yankees and their fans, then Rodriguez shouldn't be held to a diifferent standard.

If Manny was still hitting the ball like he did when he was using I'd take him in a heartbeat.... in his prime there was no one better than Manny. I'm afraid those days are over.... I hope Pukelis isn't one of those guys who was taking the bitamins that were used by some of his teammates when they won the WS in 2004 and 2007. I hate to watch another over paid, broken down steroider.
