The goal is to pass laws that make it harder for the cuckoos in our country from getting guns.

There's only one way to do that, but the gutless, self-serving politicians won't take up the real issue.

they'll pass new laws and high five each other in front of groups of kids but when the first high profile rapper gets caught with an illegal gun we'll see him get the usual slap on the wrist while the nobody's get put in jail for years....   Obama's Ameirika

He's not a rapper but he might disagree with you.

a couple of years, big deal - if the purpose is to punish and prevent the murder of little kids then you make the punishment fit the crime, liberals have taught us that owning a gun can lead to the murder of many childrens deaths, I'd say 20 years....  maybe more?  unless of course the gun ban isn't really about 'the children' and maybe about something else???

Heck If the penalty for a DWI was 20 years in jail, first offense, I bet the number of DWI's would go down exponentially.  Who do you think would fight that the most?

I say 20 years too, But I won't just minimize someone doing 2 years in jail.

That woman has some serious problems. Why she still gets hired is a mystery to me.
