...for the NY Rangers. Lunqvist had a career year last year that will be tought to repeat. With the immobile D thats the Rangers, he looks pretty average.

A good back-checking D really helps a goalie.


Henrik does look average so far this season and average does not get you deep into the PO's.

Thats exactly what the Rangers lack, as well as being able to handle/control the puck in their own zone. Last year their "D" was basically huddle in fornt of the net to shield Henrik. Special teams this season are horrendous too. They have a long way to go.

LOL! It looks like they already did. I hope this is not another season that I look forward towards the NHL draft lottery. Yell




If I were you Id hope it is. The season, b/c of the lockout means zilch. A bad season gets you a high pick, that will help the Isles in a full scheduled season.

I see your point Joe, but the Isles have had too many bad seasons in a row. They have prospects. What they need to do is get buyout the goalie for life aka DiPi. Why they haven't bought him out like the Rangers did with Redden is a mystery.

Ive always thought thier FO was a tad on the weak side. They certainly are a faster team then they have been in recent years past.
