I'll play for below the league minimum, and to be honest I might have a better arm than Damon does at this point...  what would bring more fans to the game?  Art Vandelay in left or a washed up Damon?...  c'mon guys, put the pressure on the front office to sign me, we know that Cash listens to the YES board folks...

That's it, exactly.  Maybe if he'd lowered his price, or had Boras lower it for him last offseason, he would have gotten a better job last year and would be a lot closer now.
