Continuing his hot spring. With so many people out, I personally was counting on him to carry the load.

I've been having a hard time transitioning from "Yuck" to "Youk."

I'll get there eventually... .

I tell ya, it's real hard to root for this guy but he's one of the few players who are actually hitting the ball.

If you are a Yankee fan wanting to win he is not hard to root for. The guy comes to play. To be honest with you so far guys like him, Wells, Haffner and even Boesch have done relatively well. Also Overbay had another big 2 run 2 out hit today. We have gotten zilch from Cano, Ichiro not to mention the overrated left fielder Gardner who was 0-5 today. this is typical Gardner starting slow again. I am having a harder time rooting for him and are getting tired of the same old inconsistency.

I'm rooting for him, but it's just weird cause we're soo used to booing him and hating him. He's one of the few guys who are hitting the ball.

When "A-Clod" was healthy, hitting, and giving you "more"..... many of you also find it hard to root for him.  It's interesting many more are willing to root for Youkilis than A-Rod at his prime.
