I'm listening online. Are you doing the same? Or do you have the TV package?

Thank you for all the info diehard, much appreciated.  Hope it leads to some future Yankees.  nc

If you appreciate it so much send the kid a check.

Sure, just put his address right here for everyone to read, Big.  On second thought, perhaps you could dip into your cobweb-covered billfold and fork over a few bills.  Just sayin', with your salary and all, shouldn't be a "BIG" deal.

Never mind, here's the check.  √  Can you see that he gets it?  Thanks.  nc

You're tighter than a frog's butt... And that's watertight!!!

I'd only be paying in Canadian money, which is worthless to anyone except us right now.  nc

Trenton leads Portland 5-0 heading to the bottom of the 9th.

Tampa leads Daytona 2-1 in the top of the 8th.

Charleston leads Savannah 4-2 going to the bottom of the 4th.

Charleston already won earlier today as well, and with the Yanks win hopefully we can have a perfect day for the system.

Box scores will be posted after the final out of each game.

The Thunder were ranked the #8 team in terms of talent in all of minor league baseball to start the year.

8. Trenton Thunder

Yankees

League: Double-A Eastern

Top 100 Prospects: RHP Luis Severino (No. 35), OF Aaron Judge (No. 53)

Top 30 Prospects:  Severino (No. 1), Judge (No. 2), 1B Greg Bird (No. 4), C Gary Sanchez (No. 5), 3B Eric Jagielo (No. 12), OF Jake Cave (No. 18), OF Mason Williams (No. 30)

The skinny: Starting the year with two Top 100 Prospects is excellent in its own right, but Trenton will have even more sock in its lineup with the additions of Greg Bird, Gary Sanchez and Eric Jagielo to complement Judge.

"The 25-man roster that we have right now is impressive," manager Al Pedrique said.

Severino broke out last year, pitching his way to Double-A (with a stop at the Futures Game) before a tweaked oblique slowed his progress. He'll look to refine his command and hone his slider before he's ready for the majors.

Judge and Bird both did damage throughout the season, topping in Double-A, and shining in the Arizona Fall League. Bird finished as the MVP of both the season and the Fall Stars Game.

"Both are great athletes with great tools, and the most important thing is both have great professionalism both on the field and off the field," Pedrique said of Bird and Judge. "We hope that the rest of the guys will learn from these two guys."

This appears to be a make-or-break year for Sanchez in terms of his prospect status. He's been the team's top talent in the past, and has placed as high as No. 30 in the Top 100. Lack of plate discipline, halted defensive development and a growing reputation for disciplinary problems have tempered his future.

"I like what I saw throughout the whole spring," Pedrique said. "I heard a lot of good things about Sanchez. I also heard he needs to improve on his communication with the pitching staff and being more engaged with his defense."
