Let's see if Severino can finish business in Toronto.

wouldve loved to see pineda in there mowing down these fools. i miss all his funny mannerisms on the mound. but lets go sev, im wary bc torontos the kind of team to rock you with a big inning(s) early and crush the kids confidence, that must not happen!

Not worried about Severino today one bit. McCann will be back behind the plate to guide him through the lineup and he has the best pure stuff of any pitcher on this team outside of Betances.

He's had some bad luck of late.  Saw when they played there, he was one-him in Buffalo hitting the Bisons when they pulled him.  nc

This is going to be exciting.. If he can hold down this offense, he might earn himself a permanent spot in the rotation even when Pineda gets back

I wouldn't mind going with a 6 man rotation to finish the season.

When Pineda gets back, CC needs to start his new full time job as CEO of Lard & Co.  and leave the rotation.

If he doesn't toss a couple gems here pretty quick they will have to do something with him aproaching the playoffs. It was all good when we had a 7.5 game lead, but in a tight pennant race you can't justify running him out there every 5th day with the other guys performing the way that they have been.

Not worried about his pitching , just hoping he gets some run support unlike his first 2 starts.
