But that's not what Cashman said after the trade deadline ... he said every phone call he made they wanted Bird or Severino ... it's what they always do to us Davis ... they always want more from us than from anyone else.

And why would you believe every word out of Cashman's mouth?

It's not like he was going to say, "there were trades available but Hal didn't want to take on any additional payroll because he doesn't think this team is worth it."

I'd love to have you as a fan if I were an owner, I'll say that. You'll believe anything.

She's nowhere near dumb, stroker! The lady knows her baseball so back off. She is a positive person, and keeps many of us from going off the ledge.  Go back under your bridge, troll!

In 2012 this poster made a name just to come on here and attack me ... the 7 posts he/she has are all attacking me.

If he/she is so upset with me, I wish he/she would allow me the opportunity to discuss the situation and apologize, if I owe an apology ... doesn't make sense to just stay angry with someone you don't even know ... and over a Yankee message board ... not good for one's health.

Just an idiot causing trouble, don't even think about the turd...

Yep, lets stop talking to him/her ... so we don't ruin the thread.  Thanks for your kindness.

You're welcome.

Do you always make things up when people criticize you?

I first posted under this name in 2007, so I'm not sure how you're making that one up.

I've also never criticized you before.

But to insist that people be positive when frankly, the fanbase should be calling for Hal's head - this is a time to be honest about what's going on at the Stadium. Hal has completely turned his back on the fans and destroyed the relationship between the public and this team.

You had 4 or 5 other posts before today under this name ... and they were both in threads knocking me ... all one has to do is go to your page and see the threads you posted in ... which I did do before I said anything.

Not insisting anyone be positive ... I'm being positive, and I'm trying to help others be a little more upbeat ... what's wrong with that?

What? You mean when I told you to stop trying to retire Mo before his time? When I told you he would come back and be great again and then he came back and was great again? Yeah, I was really out of line there.

I'm finished with arguing with you ... if you don't like my postings, there is an ignore feature ... feel free to use it ... and I will not bother you either.

I admire your positive attitude Mo. And I agree with some of your message. This team has overachieved to this point. I think if you asked some people if they would've taken this situation... 4.5 games out of 1st and 3.5 games ahead of the 2nd wild card team going into the season on September 12th people would've signed up for it. But the way it's happened is what is making this tough on Yankee fans. The 8 game lead in late July and then losing 12.5 games in the standings in a month and a half is disheartening and it is truly a hard day to be a Yankee fan. I'm not going to stop watching and I know most of the true fans on this board won't. Even Loon and Davis. I understand their frustration and I also understand your optimism. There's different ways to be a fan. I lie somewhere in the middle. I get pis$ed off but I try and stay even keel. Hopefully Tanaka has his A stuff tomorrow and we finally get Dickey on a day where he doesn't have his best knuckler. That's the thing about baseball... there's always a game tomorrow and the hope of that game tomorrow is what's getting me through tonight.

I was posting here long before you.

The lady is totally one note and it was a nice antidote to Jonah's relentless negativity but it's misplaced now that Hal is taking the fanbase for a ride.

The lady is also very aggressive in insisting it's her way of viewing the world or you're a negative troll. Some may be unable to understand that there is nothing nice about that.

Accepting what this front office served up at both the initial deadline and the waiver deadline is pathetic.

Where are your other posts?  Are you ahsamed or embarrassed by them?  Is that why youonly have a dozen or so this time around (if, indeed, you have actually been here before)?  nc

But how is Hal left out your post here? That tumble coincides with the most gutless trade deadline in Yankees' history. This didn't just somehow happen. Management sent a message loud and clear to this team that they had no interest in contending this year - how can it be surprising that things have gone so badly?

Uh, I actually lost my password, and yes didn't seem to be able to dig it up? That may have been back as far as 2003? 2004? It was a variant on the same name, and I was a good and pretty well-respected poster. It was probably jmir or something like that. Embarrassed? Lol, no.
