WTF! The Rangers score 5, and lose! Come on Vigneault, figure this crap out.

When Nash tied it up with under 2 minutes to go I was freeaking out! Seconds later I was in tears.

The Oilers skated like they were possessed. Let's hope that allowing 7 goals on 37 shots will not ever grace my LCD panel ever again.

OK, where did the Ranger D disappear to?  In the last 2 games they score 9 but cough up 12 to streaking but sub .500 teams.

The Ranger strength has been their D so WTF is happening here?

It's infuriating as hell watching the Rangers slip back into mediocrity. About the only thing they don't suck at lately is the PP which is unusual for them as any fan can attest to. The D is sloppy and porous. Their mojo is weak. Real bad juju at MSG. That's what they get for calling a round building square.

These last 4 years have been some of the best Ranger hockey I've ever seen in my lifetime, especially last season, yet they choked when it mattered most. An original six team with one Cup in 75 years. I know, I know, I keep bringing up this little piece of awful trivia but it's a freaking embarrassment for the fans and I can't begin to imagine how frustrating it is for the players.

Not only do I have to endure the Rangers foray into obscurity but I have to witness this freaking meltdown in vivid color on my new 60" Ultra HD flat screen.

At first Lundqvist and Raanta were able to keep them in the W column but they too have sadly succumbed to the bad juju hanging over their helmets.

It appears the Stars will take it all this season anyway.

Up 3-1 then lose 7-3. Pathetic.

I'm going to skip the next game. Maybe I'll DVR it and watch it if they win.

I don't have ulcers but if I keep watching who knows.

Yo tonyg4, where are you?

Hopefully you aren't sick but I understand if you are sick of watching the Ranger decline. Lundqvist's sagging numbers concern me the most. He had the best stats in the NHL a few weeks back and now he's fallen off the map. Crappy D hasn't helped but I expect more from him.

We'll see tonight if the 6 day break has energized the Rangers.

Sorry quiz, had much going on during this holiday season. I figured you would be calling me. Hope you and your family are  having a blessed holiday season, and hope you all have a safe and healthy New Year.

Now for the bad news. 2 words NY RANGERS.

This entire team, needs to return to form. But can they? Are they under achieving, or have they over achieved the past two seasons?
It's one or the other. But clearly this is not the outcome anyone in hockey expected, especially we Ranger Fans. I have said on many occasions that hockey is a team sport, and games are won and lost by teams. So this season is all on the team, and the coaching staff. But IMO, mostly on the team. I don't see any leadership taking control. I am not impressed at all with McD wearing the "C". And we haven't heard one word from the New GM. Like the players, he seems to be MIA.
All I know is this team right now is very boooooring to watch and very hard to watch. They just came off a nice big rest, while Nashville was playing back to back games, and the Rangers had no zip, no sense of urgency, and not much heart. And once again, after a loss, its the same old talking points. Someone, which should be the Capt. or the Head Coach, should tell it like it is, and say We S UCK. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that. We don't need to hear after every game we need to bring our A game, just go out and f ing do it. We don't need to hear, that our big guys, need to step up and play better, go out and f ing do it. What ever the problem, it seems to be contagious, because everyone is catching on to it.

Players like Kreider and Hayes, who have size, speed, hands, should be playing like it. They should be power forwards, instead they are both MIA. And it's time for the coach to make them accountable. I understand, he is benching Hayes for the next game with Tampa. About time. McILrath has been one of the best players on D. I understand why AV is seating him. But there is no doubt he is one of the top 6 on D next season. Boyle will not be here next season, and right now, he makes too much money to sit on the bench.

And a healthy, happy new year to you and yours.

I just peeked at the standings. What a freaking mistake. Pathetic. Only 3 points ahead of the Horned Ones.

The Craps came out of nowhere and blew right by them. Montreal has the same affliction but they have an excuse with Price being sidelined.

I don't know if SUCK is a strong enough word for how they're playing. It's unwatchable. I'd bet their GAA these last few weeks is the worst in the league. They aren't losing by a goal either. They are getting spanked and publicly humiliated.

Their mojo has gotten up and left the building. They don't need practice, they need a shrink. Whatever demons are living in their heads must be excised.

Good point about the Captain. I'd like to see McD more animated on the ice and bench. They need a C like Messier who guaranteed a win and made it happen with a hat trick.

Rangers at Tampa

Well a nice win before the New Years Break, looking forward to the Winter Classic on New Years Day. Rangers played a pretty good 2 way game, took to many penalties, but they seemed to play their defensive game better, and beat Bishop and Tampa 5 to 2. Lets hope they can build on this. Was very happy to see AV make Hayes accountable for his poor play. We really need this kid to play to his size and potential. He surely deserved to be sitting out. And if the Rangers go on any kind of a winning streak, I would keep him sitting out. Lets see what he is made of. Benching him may have woke some of these guys up.

I expected McILrath to be the odd man out on D. I think this year will be a big learning experience for him, on his way to  being one of the six top D on this team next season when Boyle will probably be gone.

They actually won one. Won one, that doesn't sound right.

Whatever, a win and 2 points.  Good for moral. It's especially sweet beating the Lightning who have owned the Rangers for a while. I think they said Bishop won the last 9 regular season games with a 1.47 GAA. King takes Bishop.

It was nice seeing B Boyle on the Ranger bench again. Glass sent ther big man flying!

Tough games coming up. The Panthers, who won 7 in a row and then the scary Stars. Time for another streak but this time we need W's, not L's.

LGR!
