Yes, tis I. After ECSF crashed and burned I took the summer off and then started looking for a new place to hang. Tony, I was so sorry to hear about Jocko. Andy (1994) sent me a PM about it but by then I had no way to reach you. I did let 88NYR know as well. Just terrible. Life can be so unfair. Bob

Thanks so much Bob, the last time we were all together was when my son Steve aka Jocko, arranged that great night for all us MSG Forum members to go to a meet and greet luncheon and a Ranger Flyer Game at MSG. (Which BTW, Rangers kicked their A$$) No Ranger Hockey Forum's will ever be like that bunch. The MSG board is still going, but Like I said, it will never be like the original one. Hope all is well with you Bob, it has not been easy for me and my family, but life goes on, but it will never be the same. It brings back great memories, just thinking about our days on MSG. I will send you a PM. LETS GO RANGERS.

Great news, Tony. The Rangers have speed up front and guys who can score. Their most glaring weakness now is the aging D. Can Girardi come back 100% from his kneecap injury? After that puck to the face 3 years ago Staal seems to have slowed way down. Is Shattenkirk still a remote possibility? All eyes are on Gorton. He must have impressed Vesey because the Bruins really wanted him. LGR!
Their D is aging and SLOW! Not a good thing to have in todays NHL game.

McDonagh 27 yrs old (not old at all)
Staal 30 yrs old (not old at all)
Klein and Girardi 32 yrs old, getting there, but not over the hill by any means, just more experience.
MciLrath-24 yrs old, still young
Skjei-22 yrs old, just a baby
Holden 22 years old, just a baby
Clendening 24 yrs old, still young.
John Gilmour 23 yrs old, still young.
Joe you have to get your records straight before you post on the Rangers Board, we Ranger Fans, the greatest fans in all of sports are on top of everything when it comes to hockey and the NY Rangers. I could add a few more guys on D in our system that have many years to go Joe, but I will leave it at that for now. LOL

Ya know bro, I complain about how the rules over time have ruined the game, an example is the trapezoid. With the slow Rangers D, Henrik's skating and stick handling ability would help them GREATLY if the trapezoid wasnt there. He 'd be able to get the puck to them w/o them having to skate in so deep into the defensive zone. Bettman sux royally. orrr, you can blame Marty for being the best that ever played G.

Lundqvist's only glaring weakness is his puck handling. I cringe when he passes the puck because it has a good chance of landing on the oppostions stick. Most older hockey fans don't like these new rules. I do agree with the NHL frowning upon head hunting. Solid hits and checks are fine but an elbow or fist to the head is low class.
