I honestly wouldn't be upset if Betances is gone next year, wouldn't even bring him back as a set up man. What overrated trash

This is the 2nd blown save for Betances since he became closer. The first save he blew, the Yanks won the game.

The idea of trading Betances is...well, silly.

Unless they can get a good starting pitcher for him.

Was said here by many. They should have traded him instead of Miller.

The Cubs thought he was untouchable. He shouldn't have been.

He been RUN INTO THE GROUND, because we have a manger who doesn't trust his starting pitching INCLUDING HIS ****ING ACE. or anyone else in his god damn bullpen to get a save.

hes actually allowing tanaka 1 more inning since those trades

if miller and chapman was still on the team i guarantee that tanaka would be only going 6...

If it was between Miller and Betances I wanted Betances traded. Posted it here many times. He just to inconsistant to be a reliable closer. He's proving worse then I thought. The fielding issues are a joke.

What's scary is that Betances looks like he has a Knoblauch/Rick Ankiel gremlin in his head now. His body language is terrible out there and he's aiming his pitches. The guy is wound way too tight. Pedroia was starting to back out of the batter's box as Dellin would go into his windup; sure enough, each pitch was a foot off the plate. Meanwhile he's letting baserunners advance at will uncontested. The good news is that September baseball has been meaningful and the team will be tough next year...but man, that was a brutal loss.
